Making good financial decisions as a sole trader is easier when you have the right prompt at the right time. The Penzum Tip feature puts a single, focused piece of guidance on your dashboard every day — not generic advice, but a tip built from your own data.
Penzum Tip is available on the Navigator plan only. If you are on a lower plan and want access to daily tips, upgrade in Settings → Plan.

What the tip widget shows

Each day, the tip widget on the right-hand sidebar displays one personalised financial tip. Penzum generates the tip by analysing your current income totals, recorded expenses, and upcoming obligations — so what you see reflects your actual business position, not a one-size-fits-all message.

What topics do tips cover?

Tips rotate across four main areas:

Upcoming tax deadlines

Heads-up reminders when a payment or filing deadline is approaching, so you have time to move funds or prepare documentation before the due date arrives.

Annual revenue limits

Awareness nudges as your cumulative revenue approaches key thresholds — such as the VAT registration limit — giving you time to plan your next steps rather than react.

Sole-trader financial habits

Practical guidance on cash-flow management, expense tracking discipline, and other day-to-day habits that help keep your finances healthy across the year.

Regulatory changes

Timely notes on current rule changes — for example, updates to KATA conditions or átalányadó expense ratios — that could affect how you manage your income or costs.

How tips refresh

1

Automatic daily refresh

Penzum refreshes the tip pool once per day, automatically. You do not need to do anything — open your dashboard in the morning and a fresh tip is already waiting.
2

Browse with Next Tip

If the first tip of the day is not relevant to you right now, click Next Tip in the widget to cycle through the other tips generated for that day. All tips in the daily batch are based on the same snapshot of your data.
3

Data-driven generation

Tips are recalculated each day using your latest income, expense, and obligations data. A change in your financials — such as a large invoice paid or a new obligation becoming due — will be reflected in the next day’s tips.

Important: tips are not tax advice

Penzum Tips are informational only. They are designed to prompt useful thinking about your finances, not to replace the advice of a qualified accountant or tax adviser. For decisions with significant legal or financial consequences — such as changing your tax form, crossing a VAT threshold, or handling an NAV enquiry — always consult a licensed professional.
