The AI Advisor lets you ask plain-language questions about your business finances and get answers grounded in the data already stored in your Penzum account. Instead of hunting through tables or calculating figures manually, you can type a question and receive a direct, data-backed response in seconds.
The AI Advisor is available exclusively on the Navigator plan. To upgrade, go to Settings → Subscription.

What the AI Advisor can help you with

The AI Advisor is designed for the everyday financial questions that sole traders encounter throughout the year. Here are some examples of what you can ask:
The AI Advisor checks your Obligations calendar and tells you the exact due date of your next upcoming payment, along with the tax type it relates to.
The AI Advisor calculates the gap between your cumulative recorded revenue and the statutory ceiling for your tax form (e.g., átalányadó or KATA), and returns the remaining headroom as a specific figure.
The AI Advisor explains tax concepts using current legal parameters — including rates, who it applies to, and how it is calculated — in plain language tailored to your business type.
The AI Advisor identifies which tax credits may apply to your personal situation based on the data you have entered under Settings → Personal Data, and explains how to claim them.

What the AI Advisor cannot do

The AI Advisor does not replace a qualified accountant or tax advisor. Specifically, it:
  • Does not issue legally binding tax opinions or rulings
  • Does not file tax returns or submit documents to NAV on your behalf
  • Does not provide advice on situations that fall outside the data stored in Penzum (for example, related-party transactions, property income, or prior-year corrections)
Always consult a licensed tax professional before making any significant financial or tax decisions.

How the AI Advisor works

The AI Advisor only ever references two sources when generating a response:
  1. Your data in Penzum — invoices, recorded revenue, your tax form, business type, and any personal data you have configured (such as tax credits)
  2. Current legal parameters — statutory tax rates, thresholds, and deadlines built into Penzum
It does not estimate, invent, or interpolate numbers that are not already present in your account. If it cannot answer a question from these two sources, it will tell you so and suggest consulting your accountant.
For the most accurate answers, keep your Penzum data up to date — particularly your recorded invoices, your business type, and your personal data settings. The AI Advisor is only as accurate as the information it can see.
