Penzum gives you full control over your data. If you no longer want to use Penzum, you can permanently delete your account and every piece of data associated with it directly from the dashboard — no email request required.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once you confirm deletion, your data is immediately and irreversibly removed. Penzum cannot recover it for you. Make sure you export anything you need before you proceed.

How to Delete Your Account

Open Settings

In the Penzum dashboard, click Settings in the left sidebar, then select Account.

Find the Danger Zone

Scroll to the bottom of the Account page and click Delete Account.

Read the Warning

Penzum shows you a summary of everything that will be deleted. Read it carefully before continuing.

Confirm Deletion

Type the confirmation phrase when prompted and click Permanently Delete. Deletion begins immediately.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, Penzum removes all of the following immediately and permanently:

Invoices and Income

Every invoice and income record you have logged, including imported data from invoicing integrations.

Expenses and Transactions

All expense records and bank transactions, including any data synced through automated bank imports.

Settings and Personal Data

Your profile, tax settings, notification preferences, and any other personal information stored in your account.

AI Tips and History

All AI Advisor conversations, generated recommendations, and your full Penzum Tip history.

GDPR and Your Data Rights

Penzum processes your data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, and erase the personal data Penzum holds about you — the deletion flow described above fulfils your right to erasure (the “right to be forgotten”) directly within the product. For full details on what data Penzum collects, how it is used, and your complete set of rights under GDPR, read the Penzum Privacy Policy.
If your subscription is still active when you delete your account, it is cancelled automatically. You will not be charged again. No separate cancellation step is needed.
