Penzum gives you three ways to record income, so you can choose the method that fits how you already work. Whichever approach you pick, all invoices end up in the same Income view and feed the same tax estimate — the only requirement is that an invoice reaches Paid status before it counts. Connect your invoicing software and let Penzum pull your paid invoices automatically. No copy-pasting, no manual updates — once the connection is live, the sync runs in the background on a regular schedule.

Connect Számlázz.hu

Paste your Agent Key and your invoices sync automatically from the start of the current calendar year.

Connect Billingo

Paste your API Key and Penzum fetches your paid invoices automatically on a recurring schedule.

Manual Entry

If you don’t use Számlázz.hu or Billingo, you can enter invoices by hand at any time. Go to Income → New Invoice, fill in the client name, net amount, issue date, and payment due date, then save. The invoice starts in Pending status; mark it as Paid when payment arrives. See Adding an Invoice Manually for the full step-by-step walkthrough.

Bank Import (Navigator)

If you have connected your bank account under the Navigator plan, incoming payment transactions appear in Penzum automatically. You can link those transactions to the corresponding invoices, keeping your records consistent without any duplicate data entry.

Invoice Statuses

Every invoice in Penzum carries one of three statuses. The table below explains what each one means.
StatusMeaning
PendingThe invoice has been issued but payment has not yet been received from the client.
PaidPayment has been received and confirmed.
CancelledThe invoice has been voided and is no longer valid.
Only Paid invoices are included in Penzum’s tax estimate. Pending and Cancelled invoices do not affect your calculated tax liability, even if the due date has passed.
