Keeping up with tax law and invoicing rules as a Hungarian sole trader means tracking multiple government portals, official publications, and specialist finance sites — all while running your actual business. The Penzum News widget does that monitoring for you, surfacing only the articles that are relevant to sole traders directly inside your dashboard.

What the widget shows

The widget displays a rolling list of recent articles and announcements. Each entry shows the headline, source, category tag, and publication date. The feed refreshes daily, so every time you open the dashboard you see the latest developments without any manual searching.

Sources

Hungarian tax & invoicing portals

Specialist publications that cover VAT, payroll tax, accounting rules, and invoicing regulations for Hungarian businesses — written for practitioners, not bureaucrats.

Official NAV announcements

Direct releases from the Hungarian Tax and Customs Administration (NAV), including regulatory changes, deadline reminders, and guidance updates, pulled as soon as they are published.

Categories

Every article in the feed carries one of four category tags. Use the tags to quickly decide whether a piece is immediately relevant to you.
CategoryWhat it covers
TaxationGeneral tax news — rate changes, allowances, annual filing rules, and broader tax-policy developments affecting sole traders
NAVOfficial authority communications — enforcement notices, guidance letters, system updates, and formal regulatory announcements from the Hungarian Tax and Customs Administration
InvoicingInvoicing rule changes, eÁFA (electronic VAT) updates, requirements for invoice data reporting, and changes to accepted invoice formats
FinanceBroader financial and economic news relevant to running a small business — interest rates, credit conditions, and market developments

Relevance filtering

The feed adapts to your tax form, so you see the content that applies to your specific situation — not a generic firehose of Hungarian business news.
Penzum tailors the articles it surfaces based on the tax form registered in your profile:
If you file under KATA, the feed prioritises news about the KATA contribution rules, headcount limits, eligible client relationships, and any legislative changes to the flat-tax regime.
You do not need to configure anything — the filtering happens automatically based on the tax form you selected when you set up your Penzum account. If your tax form changes, update your profile in Penzum settings and the feed will adjust immediately.
