The Penzum dashboard is the first thing you see when you log in — a real-time command centre that surfaces the numbers and deadlines that matter most to your business, so you never have to go digging through menus to stay on top of your finances.

Left panel — main content

The left side of the dashboard is where your core financial data lives. Three widgets stack here, each covering a different layer of your business picture.

Income & expenses summary

Current calendar year, month by month

This widget totals your income and expenses for the current calendar year and breaks them down by month. Use it to spot seasonal trends, check whether a particular month was unusually heavy on costs, or confirm that a payment you issued has been counted.
The summary reflects data pulled from your connected invoicing software and bank account. The more connections you have active, the more complete the picture.

Obligations

Obligations are colour-coded so you can triage at a glance: red means the deadline has already passed, yellow means it falls within the next 60 days.
This widget lists every upcoming tax-payment and filing deadline within the next 60 days. Overdue items appear in red at the top — act on these first. Yellow items are approaching but not yet past due, giving you time to prepare the funds or paperwork. Use the obligations list as your primary prompt for what to do next. If it is empty and nothing is red, you are clear for now.

Recent invoices and transactions

1

Invoices

The widget shows your most recently issued invoices — date, counterparty, and amount — so you can confirm a new invoice has synced from your invoicing software without switching tabs.
2

Bank transactions

Below invoices, your latest bank transactions appear in chronological order. This lets you quickly verify an incoming payment or flag an unexpected debit.

Right panel — sidebar

The sidebar gives you status information and curated content that is always visible alongside your main data.

Connection status

Invoicing software

A green indicator means Penzum is actively syncing with your invoicing provider. A grey indicator means the connection is inactive or has not been set up yet — click it to begin the setup flow.

Bank account

A green indicator means your bank feed is live and transactions are flowing in automatically. A grey indicator means the connection needs attention — re-authorise or connect a new account to restore the feed.
Keep both indicators green to ensure the income & expenses summary and the obligations widget have the most accurate data possible.

Penzum News

The sidebar surfaces a curated feed of news articles relevant to Hungarian sole traders — covering taxation, invoicing rules, and the latest NAV announcements. The feed updates daily, so you get fresh information without leaving the dashboard. See the Penzum News page for full details on sources and categories.

Penzum Tip (Navigator plan only)

The Penzum Tip widget is available exclusively on the Navigator plan.
If you are on the Navigator plan, the bottom of the sidebar shows a personalised financial tip generated from your own income, expense, and obligations data. A new tip appears each day automatically. Use the Next Tip button to browse through all tips available for that day. See the Penzum Tip page for more on what tips cover and how they refresh.
