# Deleting your data

> Permanently deleting your account and data

If you want to permanently delete your account and all stored data, you can start this under **Settings → Account → Delete Account**.

## What gets deleted?

* All recorded invoices and income
* All expense records and bank transactions
* All settings and personal data
* AI-generated tips and history

## Important notes

The deletion process is **immediate and irreversible**. Once confirmed, your data cannot be restored.

## Downloading your data before deletion

The **Settings → Account → Download my data (JSON)** button lets you download all your stored data, at any time, in a machine-readable JSON format, under Article 20 of the GDPR — including personal data, invoices, expenses, employment entries, voluntary pension contributions, the life-event log, and tax obligations.
