# Bank Account Connection

> Automatic transaction import from your bank account

Penzum connects to your bank with **read-only access** — it never initiates transactions.

## Planned connection steps

1. Go to the **Settings → Bank Account** card
2. Choose your bank from the list, and specify whether it's a business or personal account
3. Approve access on your bank's own interface (via EnableBanking)
4. The first import starts automatically, then refreshes daily

## Supported banks

Penzum connects to banks via the European Open Banking standard — OTP, CIB, K\&H, Erste, Raiffeisen, MBH, MagNet, Gránit, UniCredit, and more.

## Data security

Bank access happens through a regulated, audited connection. Penzum never stores your bank login credentials.

## Alternative: CSV Import

While automatic bank sync is not yet available, you can manually import your bank statement in CSV format.
